SUMMARY:WWTNE Meet the Members Virtual Meetup
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce a new series of Meet the Members virtual sessions. \nDuring these sessions\, we will hear a brief update from a trade professional on a timely trade subject\, followed by updates from existing members\, and introductions to new members. We will also learn about exciting new WWTNE initiatives and events. We hope that you will join us! \nThe sessions will be led by WWTNE Board members: Katherine Therieau\, Dr Abi Barrow and Christa Bleyleben. \nThe featured speaker for this session is Sharlene Chen\, Head of Programs\, Humanity Research Consultancy (HRC). \nSharlene Chen is a specialist in modern slavery research and consultancy\, with a focus on human trafficking and human rights violations impacting vulnerable populations. She has led projects and provided expert guidance on the scam industry across Southeast Asia and worker protection in global seafood supply chains\, with expertise in trafficking and forced labor prevention. Her work has supported organizations including UNODC\, Winrock International\, Conservation International\, the Regional Support Office of the Bali Process (RSO)\, the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA)\, INTERPOL\, and various governments. \nThe Zoom link will be sent to all registrants at 12pm the day before the Meetup. \nJoin us at the Women in World Trade New England “Meet the Members” virtual meetup and get to know our amazing community! \n\n\n											\n											Register Here
