SUMMARY:WWTNE Meet the Members Virtual Meetup
DESCRIPTION:Following our sold-out January webinar\, we are pleased to announce the next Meet and Greet on February 3\, 2025\, from 12:00 PM -12:45 PM. \nDuring these sessions\, we will hear a brief update from a trade professional on a timely trade subject\, followed by updates from existing members\, and introductions to new members. We will also learn about exciting new WWTNE initiatives and events. We hope that you will join us! \nThe sessions will be led by WWTNE Board members: Dr Abi Barrow\, Christa Bleyleben and Katherine Therieau. \nOur guest speaker on February 3 will be Paula Connelly\, Esq.\, a Senior Member of Sandler\, Travis\, & Rosenberg\, P.A.\, located in the Boston area. \nShe has over 25 years of experience in customs and international trade matters. She works with importers and exporters to address and resolve import and export compliance issues. \nPrior to joining ST&R\, Paula ran her own law firm specializing in customs and international trade matters. Earlier in her career she worked as a licensed customs broker for several brokerage companies in the Boston area. \nPaula serves as legal counsel for the Boston Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association and President of the Coalition of New England Companies for Trade. She is a member of the AD/CV working group for U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee\, the International Business Advisory Board at Massachusetts Maritime\, and Women in World Trade New England. \nOn February 3\, Paula will be addressing some of the current hot topics such as supply chain management\, tariffs etc. \nShe will be interviewed by Andrea Jeglum\, WWTNE Board Member and Clerk. \nWe hope that you will join us on February 3! \nThe Zoom link will be sent to all registrants at 12pm the day before the Meetup. \nJoin us at the Women in World Trade New England “Meet the Members” virtual meetup and get to know our amazing community! \n\n\nRegister Here
