DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Women in World Trade New England “Meet the Members” virtual meetup and get to know our amazing community! \n\n\n											\n											Register Here\n											\n									\n\nWe are pleased to announce a new series of Meet the Members virtual sessions. \nDuring these sessions\, we will hear a brief update from a trade professional on a timely trade subject\, followed by updates from existing members\, and introductions to new members. We will also learn about exciting new WWTNE initiatives and events. We hope that you will join us! \nOur November 3 guest speaker is Jennifer (Jenn) LeBlond who is the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center‘s Managing Director of Emerging Climatetech.   \nIn this role\, Jenn leads the strategic expansion of the Emerging Climatetech Team at MassCEC\, supporting Massachusetts’ climatetech startups and researchers.  Jenn’s prior experience includes serving as the Director of the Eastern US\, Science and Innovation Network for the UK Foreign\, Commonwealth and Development Office.   \nShe also participated in Venture University’s Investor Accelerator. She holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Cambridge and was a university research fellow at Imperial College London before relocating to the United States. \n Post-PhD\, Jenn completed a postgraduate degree in Nanotechnology at the University of Oxford and recently attained further education certificates in Corporate Innovation from MIT Sloan School of Management.  \nJenn will talk about the work of the Mass Clean Energy Center and the investment by the state in nurturing clean tech companies\, including international start-ups. \nThis session will be led by WWTNE Board members: Andrea Jeglum\, Associate\, Sander\, Travis & Rosengerg\, PA\, Abi Barrow\, PhD\, and Dawn Wivell\, CEO\, Firebrand International\, LLC. \nSubmit your information for free membership and to join Women in World Trade New England here: https://wwtne.org/membership/ \nThe Zoom link will be sent to all registrants at 12pm the day before the Meetup.
