WWTNE EVENTS

We are pleased to announce a new series of Meet the Members virtual sessions.

During these sessions, we will hear a brief update from a trade professional on a timely trade subject, followed by updates from existing members, and introductions to new members. We will also learn about exciting new WWTNE initiatives and events. We hope that you will join us!

The sessions will be led by WWTNE Board members: Katherine Therieau, Dr Abi Barrow and Christa Bleyleben.

The featured speaker for this session is Sharlene Chen, Head of Programs, Humanity Research Consultancy (HRC).

Sharlene Chen is a specialist in modern slavery research and consultancy, with a focus on human trafficking and human rights violations impacting vulnerable populations. She has led projects and provided expert guidance on the scam industry across Southeast Asia and worker protection in global seafood supply chains, with expertise in trafficking and forced labor prevention. Her work has supported organizations including UNODC, Winrock International, Conservation International, the Regional Support Office of the Bali Process (RSO), the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA), INTERPOL, and various governments.
